About Us

Balance-Rite Osteopathy Clinic was established in 2003 after Mark and Karen Brewer completed their four year BSc degrees in Osteopathic Medicine at The Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine. Having gained registration with the General Osteopathic Council immediately on qualifying, they have been successfully treating patients ever since. The clinic was moved from Staines to their purpose built Chertsey Osteopathic Clinic in 2012, from where they provide a highly specialised and professional service in a friendly, relaxed and comfortable setting.

Both Mark and Karen have been studying the beneficial effects of Classical Osteopathy and the Body Adjustment techniques since 1999. The very heart of this approach is in the initial diagnosis of your mechanical structure and framework, at both a macro-structural and micro-structural level. Having specialised in this one approach over this fifteen year period, they have developed their own highly skilled and unique approach to treatment of your whole body and musculo-skeletal system. Both Mark and Karen focus on the correct adjustment of a patient’s failing bio-mechanics to relieve painful symptoms and provide effective treatment.
