Having moved away from Chertsey, one of Mark’s patients traveled over 140 miles in a round trip to get his treatment today, having been severely disappointed by the osteopathic treatment he had received in Oxfordshire. He said, “all they did was a quick massage of my back and a crack, I couldn’t believe it.” Having had treatment at Balance-Rite Osteopathy previously he decided to return to get ” quality treatment”.
Our approach at Balance-Rite Osteopathy Clinic is very different to the majority of the osteopaths locally to us in Chertsey and all the surrounding areas including Addlestone, Weybridge, Cobham, Chobham, New Haw, Ashford, Staines, Virginia Water, Sunbury, Shepperton, Hampton, Woking, Guildford, Sunningdale and it appears, further afield as well!!
Chronic pain is characterised by pain which persists despite adequate time for healing. There is no clear definition but chronic pain is often defined as pain that has been present for more than 12 weeks.
The current approach we use to treatment, Classical Osteopathy, has already proven to be very successful in treating both acute and chronic pain in our patients, as can be seen in our testimonials and case studies. As ever, we are always open minded to new treatment approaches and Karen will update on our site, with her views on the osetoMAP approach, on completion of the course in June.
Mark really enjoyed the course he has just completed on Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and is looking forward to putting the skills he has learned into practise.
